About The Artist
Based in the West Midlands, Faye has always expressed a passion for art. At the age of thirteen, after drawing her first portrait (‘Glamour Model’, as seen in Gallery), an interest in capturing portraits, in particular, evolved. Now years later, after spending countless hours behind her sketch book improving her technique, she decided to move forward and share her work, hoping to share this passion with you.
“Just like a good photographer can capture the aliveness of a moment, an artist can capture the aliveness of the subject. Armed with some decent pencils and a whole lot of soul, an artist can take this image and emphasise its most important aspects, taking its actual appearance and creating its own, unique beauty.
I have no desire other than to convert such ideas to the drawings that I create and not stop until you, the client, are completely happy with the product. Meaning, if my work does not satisfy your expectations, I will not charge until it does.”
